The bicycle mod. R24 is the most recent of the DI BLASI folding bicycles. It is one of the smaller, when folded, and one of the lighter folding bicycleavailable in the market. It is the perfect bicycle to be used in conijunction with train, car, camper, boat, etc.

Like all the other DI BLASI vehicles, the bicycle mod. R24 is characterized by the easiness and quickness of folding, as well as by innovative solutions (patented), such as the automatic folding of the front fork and the automatic folding of the handlebars, which allows to reduce the dimensions when folded to 64 x 58 x 22,5 cm, corresponding to a volume of only 83,5 litres. When unfolded it has a wheelbase of 92,5 cm which allows an excellent ride stability.

The weight of the bicycle, including rear carrier, folding pedals, front and rear light powered by dynamo, stand, etc. is 13,2 kg.

To give the bicycle the maximum rigidity with minimum weight, some components of the frame are made of high tensile steel while others components are made of light alloys, depending on the stress to which they are subject.

The bicycle mod. R24 fits wheels with 16” (39 cm) diameter tyres; it is equipped with 7 speed derailleur, a large rear carrier, folding pedals, front and rear light powered by dynamo, V brakes, stand, etc. The saddle is adjustable in 4 positions.

On demand, it can be equipped with a SRAM 3-speed hub and coaster rear brake.

Other accessories available on demand are: carrying bag, shopping bag.

The bicycle mod. R24 is available in two versions:

• The version R24P whose frame has some components made of high tensile steel and some components of light alloy (according to the above criteria). It is painted with polyester powders.
• The version R24S whose frame has some components made of stainless steel (AISI 304) and some components of light alloy; also hardware is made of stainless steel. Therefore this version is most suitable for use in a seaside environment.
